Chinese characters are one of the earliest words in the world. They have been passed down for thousands of years and have never been interrupted. They are only seen by the world's cultural sources and are witnesses of Chinese civilization. Chinese calligraphy based on Chinese characters is a unique artistic form and spiritual carrier of the Chinese nation. After thousands of years, it has become a typical representative of Chinese style and Chinese manner in continuous inheritance and innovation. It is known as “wordless poetry, dance without lines; painting without picture and music without sound”.

His seal and clerical script written by writing brush made of chicken feather are sturdy and powerful with overwhelming strength and comprising lofty atmosphere. In the practice of artistic creation, he considers serving the people as his bestowed mission by Heaven. He always walks out of the study, goes deep into life, and employs the pen to inherit the cultural genes, and write the style of era with strong ink, making the Chinese cultural treasures of calligraphy shine gloriously ... In 1997, he was awarded the honorary title of “Excellence in both skills and moral integrity " by China Federation of Literary and Art Circles.

The wisdom carried by his calligraphy works will also play a unique role in promoting the development of the United Nations.
Chinese calligraphy has a long history. Wang Linxu, Member of the Standing Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Cultural Director of the Chinese National Culture Palace, President of the National Academy of Ethnic Painting, Director of the Chinese Artists Association, and the representative of the United Nations Civilization Alliance, , innovated the art of ink and wash super-image based on an in-depth study of the art of eastern and western paintings. Liu Jieyi, the then Permanent Representative of China to the United Nations, the Permanent Representative of China to the United Nations, said in his speech that Wang Linxu’s works were both Chinese and Western, with profound meanings. They represent both Chinese culture and international aesthetic values and the UN working philosophy. Common Homeland uses the symbolic meaning of uprightness of "bamboo" in Chinese culture to call for world fairness and justice. Interactive World shows that humans need a world without war and pollution and a world where all countries develop good relations with each other through sea waves, the ups and downs of hills, and accumulating and dispersing of clouds. The theme is in line with the concepts of peace, justice and sustainable development advocated by the United Nations, and also echoes China's proposition of promoting a harmonious world of lasting peace and common development.
At that time, the UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon cordially met with Wang Linxu at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, USA and fully confirmed and highly praised his great contributions to the peaceful development of the United Nations and the promotion of the spirit of the United Nations Charter as the United Nations Ambassador for Peace Culture for 20 years through cultural and artistic spirit. He praised that Wang Linxu's works represent the Chinese spirit, the spirit of the world, and the spirit of the United Nations.

Chinese characters are the main carrier for recording Chinese civilization and a treasure of world culture, which have an important impact on the development of world civilization. At the beginning of the founding of the United Nations, the Chinese language was identified as the official language. In 2010, the United Nations Department of Public Information announced the launching of the United Nations Language Day, which aimed to promote cultural diversity within the United Nations system and the equal use of the six official languages. The Department of Public Information set the "Chinese Language Day" on April 20th, which is the "Gu Yu" of the 24th solar terms of the Lunar Calendar and which is used to commemorate the contribution of the “ ancestor of the Chinese culture" Cangji who created the Chinese characters in the legend.
